A man has left Facebook users torn after sharing pictures of an alleged UFO.
Shane Draper, 30, from Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, spotted something strange in the sky just before 8 am while he was driving on the A5 home from Milton Keynes.
He pulled over to get a better look, initially concerned it was an aeroplane “crashing”, and spotted what he claimed could be a UFO.

The flying object “looked like it was on fire”, but he realised it may not be a plane after all when it took a “very sharp” turn – something he had never seen aeroplanes do.
Pictures of the potential ‘alien’ sighting, which took place last week, were shared on Facebook, where viewers debated what it could be.
While many insisted it was a plane, Shane has debunked that theory.
“I’m not sure what it is – it looks like a plane crashing but it was turning very sharply, so I checked flightradar24.com and there were no flights in that area at that time,” the IT technician told NeedToKnow.online.
“At first I thought it was a plane crashing as it was in the direction of Luton and looked like it was on fire with black smoke.

“There have been a few other sightings, all on the same morning around the same time.”
But not everyone was convinced.
One person commented: “I’m no expert but that’s a plane.”
“That’s geo engineering you’re looking at. Very man made,” another user insisted.
Someone else said: “I’ve been working at an airport for 31 years and that’s a plane peeps.” [sic]
“It was a bit odd I also took a photo it was the turn on it that caught my attention don’t think it’s aliens thou,” another person added. [sic]
Someone else commented: “Definitely a plane, there’s water vapors from the exhaust also known as contrails. So clearly it’s a normal combustion engine. I believe in aliens and entities heavy but I feel it’s pretty easy to spot what is ours and what isn’t.”
But other viewers seemed more open-minded.
One person joked: “If I was an alien I would make a U turn from Milton Keynes or Luton too.”
“What ever it is it has controlled flight,” another person pointed out.
Someone else added: “Looks like something is definitely coming down. Great pic.”
Another used dubbed it a “space snake”, while others shared pictures of aliens in a show of apparent support.
