Story from Jam Press (Steps On Snake) Pictured: The life or death moment when Arvind stepped on a venomous snake. ‘Life or death’ moment barefoot man steps on venomous SNAKE while on phone. The “life or death” moment a man stepped on a venomous snake has been captured on camera. In the video, a man named Arvind can be seen walking out of the door into his front garden while on the phone. Oblivious to the danger awaiting, he steps outside directly into the path of a huge snake, stepping onto the beast. The snake slithers across the ground as the man leaps away in terror. Arvind, who appears to be barefoot, backs away as the snake wriggles down the garden path. He called Mark Pelley, known as the Snake Hunter, who arrived on the scene at the home in Donnybrook, near Melbourne, Australia. Mark quickly identified it as a Copperhead – a type of large, venomous pit viper – and described the interaction as “a moment between life and death”. “The copperhead crawled and hid under the concrete footpath,” Mark said. “It took me 30 minutes of digging to get it out but finally it was captured with the neighbours watching. “Arvind is amazing and did the right thing. “He kept his family back from the snake after such a dangerous event and he is going to work tomorrow as Arvind is safe and was not bitten.” Mark shared a video of the terrifying near miss on social media. Julie O’Neill commented: “Lucky you had fast fancy footwork mate. Get a lotto ticket, stat!” “That was a close call,” said Kelly Jeffery. Phil Davis added: “I bet he will be very cautious every time he goes out that door in future.” “How scary!” said Megan Saddington. Steph Hindson said: “That's insane. He is so lucky he wasn't bitten. That poor snake looks terrified as well!” ENDS EDITOR'S NOTE: Digital press must include hyperlink: https://www.tiktok.com/@snakehunteraus EDITOR'S NOTES: Video Usage Licence:(NON-EXCLUSIVE) We have obtained a non
