Heinz is set to make a sausage roll flavoured mayonnaise.
The food giant teased customers with a snap of new product bottle.
A Heinz spokesperson said: “New sauce alert.
“What if you didn’t need to eat a sausage roll, to enjoy a sausage roll?”
The spokesperson added: “Public service announcement.
“This is not real… yet
“Should we make it?”
Fans were divided on the impending launch.
Olivia Odetta said: “Most definitely, make it.”
Michael Allen agreed, adding: “Sounds like a good idea.”
Washington Pamela said: “Yes, make it a spicy sausage roll.”
Joshua Bill Richardson added: “My God, please.”
However, Leane Rogers said: “Too far Heinz, too far.”
Jasmin Fee agreed, adding: “I’m about to be sick.”
Barry Markham said: “Just when I thought I’d seen it all with Marmite mayo.
“Now they’ve made sausage roll mayo where will this madness end.”
Aaron Fin, echoed this adding: “The only thing that needs to taste like sausage rolls, are sausage rolls.”
Elspeth Moore said “Nope, sausage rolls do not need any sauce.”
Benjamin Jackson said: “Imagine opening your lunch at work to find the missus has done you tuna, cucumber and sausage roll mayo sandwiches.”
He joked: “That’s an offence punishable by stoning.”
