A real-life Dr Doolittle scuppered crooks stealing hay from a farm after she said she was tipped off by a horse she was talking to.

Lynette Blackwell claims to be able to speak to sick animals using energy healing.

The 54-year-old says she can help them through pain.

But she claims she even solved a crime through her conversation with one horse.

Lynette started doing it to relieve her own agony after a car crash left her with a bad hip.

She claims she discovered she can speak to animals to identify their problems and help point their owners in the right direction to heal them.

Owners will normally consult a vet and if the issue continues, Lynette will then try to speak to the animal to resolve whatever they’re experiencing.

This can range from health problems to changes in their behaviour.

This mum-of-one has worked with a range of animals from horses, dogs and donkeys to lizards and tortoises, using reiki and other energy healing techniques.

Lynette, from Hadleigh, Suffolk, said: “In my 13 years of speaking to animals, one of my strangest experiences was when I went to visit a horse.

“The owners had called because the horse was lame which is normally linked to an emotional problem.

“As I started to connect and speak to the horse, he told me there had been visitors to the yard and they’d be stealing the hay.

“I told the family as soon as I heard this, this is what had been affecting the horse, and I think they were a bit reluctant to believe me at first.

“However, they checked their CCTV footage and the thieves had been caught on camera.”

She added: “This isn’t the only strange animal experience I’ve had.

“The first animal that I ever spoke to was reluctant.

“He had been acting strange for weeks and off his feed.

“When I first touched him he wanted me to stop and told me all about his history as a carting horse.

“When I told the owner she was so shocked and confirmed that was right, and due to this communication he started to heal shortly after.

“People come to me for a mix of behavioural and emotional issues which can be linked to feed, a tight saddle or lead etc.

“Animals don’t just tell me about their issues, but problems occurring in their owners’ lives too such as being in a bad relationship or unhappy in their jobs.

“I’ve spoken to a range of animals from dogs, ponies, lizards, tortoises and parrots.

“But I try not to speak to a caged animal as it can be very depressing.

“For example, cows are very drawn to me but when you communicate with them, they are aware they’ll end up in slaughter and it’s really sad.”

Lynette has revealed how she got into energy healing and how she manages to connect to animals.

“I was in a car accident and left with an incredibly painful bad hip which doctors couldn’t do anything for.

“I decided I wanted to get involved with healing energy to help my own injuries and learnt all about Reiki.

“Reiki is a type of energy healing and is a complementary therapy.

“I’m a massive animal lover so I wanted to help animals and heal them.

“It’s about connecting at a level one energy which essentially starts with speaking and talking to the animal.

“With a horse it’s clear if they like you as they wrinkle their noses and if so, you can then put your hands on the horse to crawl in the energy.

“It almost feels like an electric shock and you can feel that spark coming out when the connection has been made.”

Animal whisperer Lynette is completely aware they’re will be many critics out there who simply don’t believe her.

However, she does have proof in the pudding for those who are sceptical.

Lynette added “I’m very confident in my ability so I’ve not had too much criticism to my face.

“However, I can use this energy healing on people as well to tell them about their lives.

“That’s how I challenge people and it leaves them shocked.

“Even my husband was sceptical at first and said no one would pay me to do it, however, my son is just so used to it by now.

“I’m similar to my critics; once upon a time I didn’t believe anyone could speak to animals either.”
