Hugh Jackman shocked diners at a dessert restaurant by popping in for a ‘cheat meal’.
The Wolverine actor enjoyed a meal at The Waffle House in Norwich on yesterday (2 Jul).
The 54-year-old ordered two dishes.
The X-Men star opted for a £6.35 banoffee waffle – with bananas, toffee sauce and chocolate sprinkled on top.
Another had mushrooms, cheese and bolognese on top.
The Australian actor often visits Norfolk as his mum is said to live in the county.
Jackman tweeted: “Happy cheat meal to me.
“Noooo! I did not share. And, I’m not sorry.”
A spokesperson for the Waffle House said: “Huge thank you to Hugh Jackson for being such a legend.
“Posing for a photo and mentioning us on his social media pages.
“He also helped chop some vegetables in the kitchen with his claws.”
Locals were shocked at the visit from the Hollywood A-lister.
Hannah Maraschino Resnuom said: “Oh my gosh.
“Waffles and Wolverine, my two favourite things together in Norwich.”
Charli Fitzjohn said: “This is amazing.”
Emily Payne added: “Best day ever. What a guy.”
Julie Lincoln moaned: “Why do these things happen when I’m not about?”
Norwich City Football Club joked: “Fuelling for training tomorrow, good move.”
