A dopey driver gets the cones of shame after failing to move their motor so a road could be resurfaced.
The light blue Fiat 500 was left in the quiet residential street.
Workman tarmacked around the tiny hatchback.
Eight yellow cones were then placed around the car.
The rest of the road has been resurfaced but the ground underneath the tiny Fiat wasn’t.
Notes were also put under the front windscreen wiper of the car in Percy Avenue, Broadstairs, Kent.

Locals were left bemused by the shaming of the motorist.
Damarall Werrey-Easterbrook was walking with her son, six, to the library when she spotted it.
She said: “The car stood out like a sore thumb, as the cones were everywhere.
“Clearly the owner hadn’t moved the car in time for the resurfacing.
“And the workers had made a point of highlighting that fact.”
Damarall spotted it on Saturday (8 Jul).
She added: “I drove past yesterday and the little Fiat 500 had gone.
“But with all the cones put neatly back in place, like it had done the drive of shame unnoticed.”
Another local – named Sarah – said: “She sheepishly moved it.”
Helen added: “What on earth.”
But Gillian said: “Don’t worry it will be dug up again as its been done so badly.”The cone of shame is usually used to refer to a cat or dog forced to wear one around their neck to stop to licking a wound.
