The tiny pad is just 16.4 sq metres (176 sq ft). The estate agents cheekily boast it is an “affordable way” for buyers to get on the property ladder. Homehunters are currently being hit by interest rates hitting a 15-year high of over 6%. The pokey property has a double bedroom and a separate ensuite bathroom complete with shower, toilet and basin. The other room - just two metres wide - combines the kitchen - with a washer dryer and fridge freezer - and the lounge. But there are only two windows - one in the bedroom wall and a skylight in the other room. It is said to boast an “outside courtyard space” - but it appears just to be a skinny alleyway.
