Peter Kay stunned staff when he popped into a seaside fish and chip shop for tea.
The casually dressed funnyman was all smiles as he posed with staff.
The 50-year-old comic is known for making gags about his love of a chippy tea and other food like garlic bread.
He went into Atkinsons Fish and Chips in Morecambe, while on a break from his stand-up tour.

A spokesperson for the chippy said: “We’ve had a very special and famous visitor come down to visit us recently…Peter Kay.
“This is his second time visiting us in our cafe on Albert Road.

“We might not have provided garlic bread, but he certainly loved his fish and chips.
“I’m sure we will see him again soon!.”
Local Sunny Cromps said: “Friday night, chippy tea?”
Jane Leese added: “Hope you had peas and gravy for him.”
Wendy Hartles joked: “Don’t forget the garlic bread.”
Peter is doing more than 100 gigs as part of his ‘Better Late Than Never Tour’ which started last December
