Book lovers, assemble – you can now sleep in a bookshelf, hidden deep inside an enormous library.
The hostel comes complete with 55 bedrooms and over 1,700 books to choose from, with something to choose from every genre.
Entering the humungous library, guests are shown around the sitting area, café, bathrooms, and amazing bedrooms.

Among the vast shelves of books, little nooks for beds have been created.
Guests are invited to stay amongst the pages, sleeping on their very own bookshelf.
The beds are separated by shelves of literature, so you’re not too close to another avid reader.
Each room, which can only be accessed with a ladder, comes with a soft-glowing light, charging port, and a curtain for privacy.

You can simply pluck your favourite bedtime story from the ceiling, and get lost in your chosen tale until you’re ready for a dream-filled slumber.
The hostel, called Book and Bed Tokyo, is a self-proclaimed ‘accommodation bookshop,’ and has books both in English and Japanese.
They also supply fiction and non-fiction books, as well as a bar where you can enjoy a tasty breakfast in the morning, or a drink in the evening.

Located in Shinjuku, Tokyo, the rooms are priced from £34 per night.
