A person with a priority for relaxation has left neighbours in stitches after installing a “hot tub” in place of the public bins.

Jamie, 36, was left surprised when he peered out the window and spotted the functioning jacuzzi in the communal waste area.
The ground worker, who was visiting his friend in Cranhill, Glasgow, found the setup hilarious and decided to share the bizarre situation on social media platform, X, racking up over 378,000 views.
In the post, he reveals a snap of the area, which shows the round tub placed in between two gated sections – with the bins shoved to the side.

He captioned the picture: “Somebody in Cranhill has removed the bins from the bin area to put his hot tub there instead[…] Jesus man.” [sic]
Users have flocked to the comments to share their reactions, with many left in stitches.
“Pissin maself btw but not surprised,” one person said. [sic]
Mark added: “Only in Glasgow.”
“Now that is brilliant haha,” Ricky commented.
Julian said: “Communal bins, communal hot tub, stands to reason[…]”

Another user added: “New council swimming pool.”
“My mate didn’t know whose it was, but he said it had been there for a few weeks,” Jamie told NeedToKnow.co.uk.
“I saw it from his back window and my first reaction was to start laughing to myself.
“It’s very Glaswegian.”
