Brian May stunned staff after popping into a seaside restaurant for fish and chips.
The Queen legend then went for a paddle in the waves afterwards.
The 76-year-old guitarist went for the meal at The Reef, in Sandown, Isle of Wight with pals yesterday (12 Sept).
The eatery sells freshly battered cod, homemade mushy peas, homemade tartare sauce and seasoned fries for £15.95.

A spokesperson for the restaurant said: “We have been honoured to meet Brian May.
“What a lovely man.
“He spent the afternoon sat outside at The Reef.
“Had fish and chips and drinks with friends.
“He loved the food, and fantastic service and loved the beach so much he went across for a paddle afterwards.”

Local Lin Scott said: “Think he’s a very down to earth nice guy so lovely that he paid a visit.”
Steve Moss added: “Always knew Brian May had taste.”
