A Volvo has been spotted marooned on its own tiny island on Google Maps.
The modest silver saloon is perched on rocks in the middle of a lake.
It has stuck there for at least EIGHT YEARS.
It has shown up on Google Street View since 2015.
It also appears on satellite images from Google Maps and has been named ‘Volvo Island’.
Eagle-eyed online sleuth Kevin Rault made the unusual discovery.
The silver motor has been abandoned on the tiny strip of rocky land.
It is surrounded by water and has no way of being retrieved.
There are lots of green areas and trees around the water.

The car is believed to be a 2001 Volvo model.
It remains isolated on the island in Ottawa, near Chicago, Illinois, US.
Despite being trapped on the island, the car appears to be in good nick.
Fellow Google Maps fan David Richards said: “But why?”
”Rumor has it’s been standing there for more than 200 years, but still no rust,” joked Jonaton Beglert.
Tristan Graves said: “What a waste of a good Volvo man.”
It is a mystery how it got there, but one theory was it was on land that then flooded.
