Bleating Just Stop Oil protesters have been slammed after they complained about cops being heavy handed with a former NASA scientist.

Campaigner Alistair Glasse – a former NASA scientist – was nicked.

But the eco mob moaned that officers were “bending his wrist.”

One local – named Norman – joked: “I bet he’s in the local amateur dramatics club.”

Another quipped: “Break the law. Risk arrest.

“Not rocket science is it?”

Zoe Grey fumed: “What about the pain you cause blocking ambulances, doctors, pregnant women in labour.”

Steve Miller added: “Just imagine a scene with someone in mega pain in an ambulance but can’t get to hospital because you lot block the road.

“Imagine if that ever happened. Be terrible wouldn’t it?

“Swallow that.”

Leo Kearse said: “Just when I thought I was disgusted by the Met, they win me back with this.”

Kevin Edger added: “Glad to see the Met Police getting people off the roads, with whatever method is needed.

“If you don’t want the pain, don’t do the crime.

“Blocking roads disrupts people getting about, including ambulances.”

Yet Brian McHugh said: “Not reasonable, not proportionate and not necessary.

“Where’s the justification?”

Alistair was arrested on Waterloo Bridge in central London on Tuesday (8 Nov).

In the video one Just Stop Oil campaigner said: “Pain compliance is being used.

“They’re bending his wrist.”

Alistair can be heard screaming and tells the cops: “Not when you are torturing me.

He then holds his head in apparent agony.

Another protestor adds: “You can see this person is in pain.

“You have a duty of care.”

A cop replies: “Yeah absolutely.

“So pain compliance is short, very short medium pain.”

A Just Stop Oil spokesperson said: “Met Police use pain compliance on Just Stop Oil supporters.

“The man in the video is Alistair Glasse.

“He’s a scientist that’s previously worked with NASA.

“The Met are literally arresting scientists instead of investigating the real criminals in power.

Forty arrests were made during the protest which saw an ambulance on blue lights struggling to get through.
