An 18-year-old lad mysteriously dropped dead during a futsal match.
Horror footage shows how Guilherme Carvalho Castaman kicks the ball into play but immediately stumbles backward.
He pleads for help from an official as he sits on a bench on the sidelines before slowly dropping onto his side.
The official runs over and tries to prop him up, but the teenager’s body is completely limp by this point.
The match in Soledade, Brazil, is then stopped so assistance can be provided as the footage ends.
According to reports, Castaman began convulsing and was taken to a local hospital on Tuesday (14 Nov).
Medics tried to revive him, but he ended up passing away around 9 pm.
According to reports, “sudden death from unknown causes” was listed on his death certificate.
Castaman was playing for Sport Club SRB in a local championship when the tragedy unfolded.
The match was reportedly just minutes from ending when he collapsed.

His family members told how he suffered from epileptic fits when he was a child.
However, they added that it had been a long time since he had had one and that he played sports regularly.
Castaman was laid to rest in Soledade on Wednesday (15 Nov).
The local Sports and Leisure Department said in a statement: “We are left with fond memories of this young athlete who brought so much joy to everyone fortunate enough to have known him.”
