An angry football fan has blacked out a tattoo dedicated to his club on his wrist after they bottled the league title.
The young man was disgusted with his team’s performance in the final for the Peruvian Liga 1 championship.

The league is settled by a four-team playoff and Alianza Lima met Universitario de Deportes, also from Lima, in a grudge derby in the final on 9 November.
Universitario won 0-2 at their rival’s home ground, the Alejandro Villanueva Stadium, and were duly crowned champions.
Alianza Lima were favourites for the final as it was taking place on home soil and they had won the league in 2021 and 2022.
One Alianza Lima fan was so despondent with losing out on the league that he covered up a club tattoo on his wrist.
The clip shows the tattoo artist finishing work on the blacked-out club badge on the supporter’s arm.

The tattooist says: “My guy had Alianza tattooed here, now he’s covering it up.”
The disgruntled fan says: “They’re sh*t.”
The video was widely shared on social media where it divided opinion about the fan’s angry response.
One local commented: “That guy was never a true Alianza fan, here we will always support our team.”
Another said: “He was never a supporter of the Blue and Whites. He’s a chicken, because a true fan will always stand by them through good and bad.”

Luis wrote: “He isn’t a fan, I would never leave the team of my heart.”
Javier remarked: “Hahaha, Alianza are a joke.”
Henry commented: “That fan erased his tattoo. Finally, a clever one.”
