A passenger has been filmed attacking several officers after being ordered to disembark a plane.
The unidentified man reportedly became embroiled in a row with another person on a flight from Barranquilla in Colombia to Miami, US, on 17 December.
His behaviour was deemed to be overly aggressive and cabin crew members asked for him to be removed from the plane.
The flight was delayed at the Ernesto Cortissoz International Airport while police dealt with the allegedly inebriated passenger.
A video shows the suspect, who comes from Poland, being escorted through the cabin by Colombian officers as passengers jeer and whistle.
One passenger – reportedly the man he argued with – shouts out in English: “F* you, you mother f*er.”
The suspect reacts angrily and turns to confront the man but is stopped by the cops behind him.
He then apparently lashes out at the officers and is eventually bundled to the floor and placed under arrest.
The authorities said in a statement: “A police report has been opened concerning a passenger identified as Weinmann, Peter, of Polish nationality.
“He was overexcited and apparently in a state of dismay and therefore our uniformed officers politely asked him to disembark the aircraft.
“He reacted in an aggressive manner and attacked the uniformed officers.
“He was restrained and subsequently placed under arrest.”
The police added: “One uniformed officer sustained injuries to his face and right hand and is currently being treated by medical professionals.”
The authorities said the Polish citizen was sent before the Attorney General’s Office in Soledad to face charges of violence against a public servant and causing personal injury.
