A lorry carrying fireworks caught fire and created a spectacular show attracting scores of onlookers.
The truck was engulfed in flames as rockets shot out of the back in all directions, filling the sky with a dazzling light display.
One witness filmed the impromptu display on their mobile phone in a one-minute and 29-second video.
Once the fireworks stopped, the truck was seen burning with just the shell of the vehicle remaining.
The authorities said the fire raged for over three hours before it was eventually extinguished.
Hundreds of locals took to the street to watch the impromptu fireworks show.
The lorry driver set off from Tamil Nadu, India, before the vehicle caught on fire in Khargi Kheda village in Uttar Pradesh in the north of the country.
The lorry driver said he was bound for Bahraich.
Fortunately, no one was reported as injured during the blaze.
The cause of the fire remains unclear and an investigation is currently underway.
