The mix-ups, causing a stir in the community of 724 people, led locals to resort to Facebook to reconnect with their misplaced online orders.
Following the blunders, delivery giant Evri, formerly Hermes, decided to terminate the services of the error-prone courier.

Deputy mayor Debra De Ste Croix finds the situation initially amusing but acknowledges the growing annoyance among villagers, stating, “It’s turned into a right saga, and was a bit of a laugh. But to be honest, we’re all a bit fed up now too.”
Anne, a local resident, shares her dissatisfaction, stating, “My parcel has been delivered to this porch but it’s not mine. Please can you let me know if it’s yours, and I’ll come and collect it.”
