A group of hikers have been left stunned after a speed camera mysteriously turned up on a remote mountain path.
The large camera was photographed on 27 January, located on a grassy pathway leading to the peak of a mountain.
Images show the traffic camera in a white protective case sitting on the remote trail.

The camera was initially installed on Route 918 near Ossès in the French department of Pyrénées-Atlantiques, located near the border of Spain.
The reason behind its new location is currently unknown, with the camera moving to the slopes of Mount Baigura in the French Basque Country.
The French authorities have yet to explain how it could have possibly got there.
It’s unclear if pranksters were involved in moving the camera to its new picturesque spot on the side of Mount Baigura.
One local commented: “Excellent location.”
Another joked: “So the migration of the traffic cameras must have started already…”
“It is not a fixed camera, but a mobile one. You can see the towing drawbar in the photo,” wrote someone else.
Another local remarked: “The story doesn’t say if any off-road vehicles were caught while passing by.”
Someone else joked: “It will flash the flying woodpigeons!”
