A dad got a fright when he checked to see who was at his front door and it was a giant SNAKE.
The shocked man, named Timothy, got a notification on his phone.
He checked his Ring app and saw the black rat snake slithering over it.
Timothy of Martinsburg, Virginia, US, was tasked by his wife and kids to go make sure the snake was removed from the door.
Timothy told NeedToKnow.co.uk: “I thought it was funny and impressive that the snake had reached my door handle and curled up on it.

“My wife was upset by it and made me go make sure it was gone.
“My children were a mix… some thinking it was cool whilst others were visibly shaken by it.”
Luckily, black rat snakes – which can grow up to 6ft (1m 80cm) long – are not venomous.
They are constrictors and prey on small animals like frogs, birds and rodents.
He added: “I received the Ring notification while lying in bed.
“I did check the camera before stepping out, but again, it was gone before I got downstairs.
“Having Ring is very comforting as I get notifications all times of the day and night alerting me to whom – or what – I may be walking out to greet.
“It along with my alarm system provides me and my family with a certain level of safety we never had before.
“These snakes are harmless and great to have around the house as they keep the more dangerous snakes away.
“They also keep rodents in check so I don’t have to worry about them coming into the house.
“While this video may be a little scary for some, I feel like it was just our friendly neighbourhood snake coming by to say hello.
“Besides, can anybody ask for a better antitheft system than a curled up snake on your front door handle?”
