Hundreds of food delivery drivers block streets with their mopeds in a strike over pay.

Drivers from Deliveroo and UberEats were among those who took part between 5pm and 10pm yesterday (14 Feb).

The workers want more money and to be given improved working conditions.

The footage in Brighton shows them bringing the seaside city to a standstill.

They parked up with their hazard lights on and beeping their horns.

A grassroots group organised the strike by posting on platforms such as X, to draw national attention to the issues couriers face.

Alex Marshall said: “Another inspirational video of last night’s food delivery strike.

“The decision to strike spread fast over the course of the week mobilising thousands of workers all over the UK by last night.”

Janet Shaw said: “Great to see the food delivery strikes.”
