A pensioner has been left heartbroken after her beloved Jack Russell died after being attacked by another dog in the street.
The horror moment Diane Wallington’s 12-year-old pooch, Wilfie, was savaged, was captured on CCTV.
The 65-year-old was walking him, plus her chihuahua, Archie, and crossbreed, Millie, down the street.
Suddenly a large, white Mastiff-type dog started barking at her three dogs.

The powerful animal dragged the woman walking him across the street.
OAP Diana tried to shield her terrified pets, but the white dog locked his jaws on poor Wilfie.
She was hapless to protect him for 16 seconds before two men who witnessed the dog attack rushed over to help.
A woman consoles Diana as the men are then joined by two more and manage to free Wilfie.
They had to strike him and spray him with water to get the larger dog off him.
He could be seen darting off scared in Delce Road, Rochester, Kent, but Diana and the bystanders could stop him.
Wilfie was then hit by a car 50 metres away in Howard Avenue which runs parallel to it.
Diane rushed him to the vet, but he had to be put to sleep.
Wilfie suffered deep bites to his body and a broken leg.

Diane said: “This happened to my poor dog.
“Loads of people helped me, I was in shock.
“They managed to free him, but he ran away traumatised and had bites on his back.
“He then got run over and we had to put him to sleep through injuries.
“I’ve lost my faithful friend of 12 years, where is the b*oody justice?”
She added: “This is a very popular area for dog walkers.
“But since this happened a lot of my friends are afraid to go anywhere near there.
“I still cry every day thinking about my faithful friend and have problems sleeping.”
Diane, of Rochester, has reported the attack to the police.
It happened on 18 December but she has only just obtained the one-minute, 56-second CCTV footage.
