Two crooks – one in a hi-vis jacket – stole a heavy tool from a trailer on the back of a truck in a brazen theft.
They pulled up in the residential street in a black Toyota Corolla.
One of the thieves in the fluorescent vest got out of the passenger side of the car first.
He walked around the flatbed truck and the trailer looking at what was on the back.
The van had road signs on it but the man became interested in heavy machinery.

He went back to the car and the other man came out and the pair of them lifted the orange tool into the back of their car.
It happened in Bowes Park, near Wood Green, north London on Thursday (22 Feb).
The theft was captured on CCTV in the road in a one-minute and 39-second video.
Local Calvin McDonald said: “I’d love to get my hands on them and catch them in the act.
“Perhaps if I was in a charitable mood, I’d get them to put the tools back and then frog march them to the site and get them to apologise.”
He sarcastically added: “Hopefully be a lesson learned and I’d let them on their way without further action.”
Kristy fumed: “Oh, they really thought they could just walk off with our tools like that?
“Time to step up that security game.”
A third said: “Thieves nowadays, wear hi-vis jackets when committing crime.”
Another joked: “Clearly off to do greater engineering work like compete with the Americans and land something on the moon.”
The Met Police has been approached for comment.
