She was arrested at the scene,
Her kids were taken to a nearby hospital, where the younger teen received treatment for a minor eye injury.
They were picked up by their dad, who separated from his wife recently, a short while later.
Chaparro has been charged with drug trafficking with aggravating factors, which could see her jailed for six to 20 years.
Prosecutors are investigating the case.
She is being held on remand following the blast on Wednesday (7 Feb) night.
Federal assistant prosecutor María del Carmen Núñez told local media: “In addition to the seized drugs, five packages – resembling ‘bricks’ – remained intact.
