This is the bizarre moment an alleged pizza thief helps himself straight from a restaurant oven – before apparently burning his hands on his piping-hot prize.
CCTV footage shows the man reaching over the counter and grabbing the freshly cooked pizza with his bare hands.
But his apparent takeaway quickly goes wrong when the scorching tray proves too hot to handle.

The man recoils and briefly drops the pizza back onto the counter.
But rather than abandoning his snack, he folds it over, wraps it in napkins and heads for the exit.
The bizarre incident happened at Slim & Husky’s Pizza Beeria in Nashville, Tennessee, US, as reported by Need To Know.
The restaurant later shared the surveillance footage on social media and poked fun at the brazen customer.
Staff set the clip to Snoop Dogg’s hit Drop It Like It’s Hot and asked followers: “Who unc is this?”
The footage, shared on Friday (4 September), quickly attracted attention online.
Viewers were left in stitches by the man’s apparently painful encounter with the piping-hot pizza.
