A street vendor swung a meat cleaver at a woman before being wrestled to the ground.
The footage shows the taco salesman menacingly brandishing the huge blade as he approaches her.
He takes a swipe at her before being promptly wrestled to the ground by several onlookers.
Before the horror moment, the woman accused the street vendor of harassing her outside a tube station.
In another video, the street vendor is seen being confronted by the woman at his stand before calling a friend to bring him “the nine millimetre” gun.

He specifies “the one we used for the kidnapping.”
After hanging up the call, the taco vendor went for the woman along with two witnesses who defended her.
He was subdued by several men who disarmed him and called the authorities.
On the ground, he claims: “I can kill whoever I want, I’m a hitman.”
The police then arrived at the scene in Cuauhtémoc, Mexico City, to arrest the man.
The suspect, named as René Martínez Cázares, was sent before a judge at the Public Ministry to face charges of attempted murder and threatening behaviour.
Meanwhile, Cuauhtémoc mayor Sandra Cuevas ordered the removal of the suspect’s taco stand as the investigation continues.
One local commented: “Well, there is his confession that he kidnaps people and is a hitman.”
Another said: “Only in Mexico can you visit your go-to taco guy and get a machete blow.”
“My question is, are his tacos any good?” joked someone else.
