A dog has miraculously survived after cruelly being shot in the head with an arrow.
The poor pooch, named Cola, roamed for three days after the arrow hit just centimetres from his brain.
He avoided people at all costs as the barbaric shooting left him terrified of them.
Thankfully, he was spotted by the team at Dog Rescue Thailand in Mae Phim.
But he was difficult to catch, as he was nervous.

The team were able to sedate him before rushing him to the vets.
An X-ray shows the arrow stuck in his head and under his eye.
He was shot with either a crossbow or bow and arrow.
The surgery to remove it was successful, but Cola still needs intensive care at the vet as the wound was showing signs of infection.
Although he was lucky to survive the attack, he is now terrified of humans.
He is on the road to recovery and has started to eat again.
The rescue team has set up a donation page to help fund Cola’s medical bills.
A spokesperson for Dog Rescue Thailand said: “We’re pleased to report that Cola is on the path to healing after the surgery to remove the arrow from his head.
”The wound is healing well, and we’re taking all necessary steps to ensure his recovery goes smoothly.
“However, Cola is still very scared of humans.
”Understandably, his traumatic experience has left him wary of people.
”Despite this, our dedicated team is providing him with gentle care and patience to help him feel more secure.
“We’re committed to supporting Cola every step of the way on his journey to emotional and physical healing.
”Your continued support and encouragement mean the world to us and to Cola.
“Let’s send positive thoughts and love to Cola as he bravely faces each day.
”Together, we can help him overcome his fears and find comfort and happiness once again.”
