Google Maps detectives have found what appears to be a large ‘door’ in the middle of Antarctica.
Viewers were left reeling after spotting the bizarre find while digitally searching the remote area.
It comes after a similar structure was found last July, which some users believed was a hidden Nazi bunker or even a secret government base.

Being largely uninhabited by humans, Antarctica has long been a focus for conspiracy theorists.
One popular theory is that the continent is actually an “ice wall” that encompasses Earth – which, you guessed it, theorists believe to be flat.
According to the coordinates, the latest find was discovered near the Showa Station, a Japanese research station on East Ongul Island in Queen Maud Land, Antarctica.
The recent find has set a channel of Reddit users, which boasts 2.1 million members, ablaze with fresh theories, after the ‘door’ image was shared.
Captured on Google Maps, the screenshot shows a glassy rectangular shape, surrounded by deep hills of snow – which was quickly likened to a ‘door’.
The user who uploaded it described it as a “secret door to Hollow Earth”.
One user, Rick, commented: “That’s actually big foot’s vacation home.”
Another user wrote: “Looks like ice berg.”
Einis joked: “I think it’s a shuttle from Star Trek.”
Ana said: “That’s seed storage.”
Other viewers offered slightly more rational explanations.
One person suggested: “Glaciers have f***ing ice walls lol zoom out you’ll see the entire area littered with structures.”
Another follower wrote: “Looks like a big chunk of ice.”
Robby said: “It is ice look at the blue colour.”
Someone else wrote: “Nah that’s just a piece of ice sticking out from the ground.”
