Karolina Geits was onboard a flight from Miami to New York when she had the genius idea.

The 29-year-old admits she isn’t a fan of dating apps as she prefers to meet people in person.

After noticing the seat next to her was empty, Karolina took the opportunity to find her next beau.

In a clip posted to TikTok, the content creator can be seen discussing her plan with an air hostess.

She then holds up a sign with a QR code to her social media.

In the video, Karolina said: “Hi guys, I’m Karolina Geits.

”I’m looking for a rich husband.

”My seat is 2A.

”Please join me if you’re rich.”

The announcement was met by a round of applause on the aircraft with the pilot even popping out to have a look at the commotion.

Posting her quirky match-making method to her TikTok (@karolinageits), social media users praised her confidence and indeed her whole idea, with the video receiving over 145,000 likes and 1,5,0000 views.

“The aeroplane staff were incredibly supportive of my idea,” Karolina told What’s The Jam.

“They really appreciated the creativity and enthusiasm behind it.

“To my surprise, they were not only happy to help but even called the captain, who was also on board with the idea!

“He even commented that it was a brilliant concept.

“I’m so grateful for the kindness and encouragement of the entire crew—especially the amazing support from my fellow female passengers.”

She says that the idea first sprung to mind when she spotted a QR code on her suitcase and she decided to try it out on on her flight.

“The reaction on the plane was amazing.

“So many people were cheering me on and congratulating me on my creativity!

“Some even scanned my QR code to subscribe right then and there.

“Although I hadn’t found my future husband yet, the experience gave me a huge boost of confidence and motivation.

“To be honest, I’ve never been a big fan of dating apps.

“I prefer meeting people in person, as I feel it leads to more genuine connections.

“I won’t deny that a rich husband is something I desire.

“It’s not because I’m materialistic or shallow.

“I know what I want and I’m unapologetic about pursuing it.
