A politician’s influencer cousin has been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of a family of three in a suspected robbery-gone-wrong.
Windybeth Bonny Guaidó, also a model and singer, is one of three people arrested in connection with the triple murder.
Married couple, Ángel Villar and Elvira Fernández and their daughter, Laura, were stabbed to death after a group broke into their home in the early hours of Saturday (13 Apr).

The police believe they gained access to the house using information that Laura, 22, had inadvertently provided.
They didn’t need to force entry, as they knew the family always left a rear door open.
Elvira called the emergency services after hearing the trespassers inside her home in Chiloeches, northeast of Madrid, Spain.
But before help could arrive, Windybeth’s partner, Fernando P.F., allegedly stabbed the three to death.
As Ángel, an expert in taekwondo, put up a fight, Laura’s brother, Yeray, managed to escape to safety and call for help.
Before fleeing the scene, the intruders allegedly set fire to the house in an apparent bid to destroy evidence.
When firefighters put out the blaze, they found the victims’ bodies, all with multiple stab wounds.
Windybeth, 34, and Fernando were arrested in a hostel in nearby Daganzo de Arriba on Sunday (14 Apr), as reported on Need to Know.
Officers reportedly found drugs, weapons, and a suitcase full of watches and a gold chain belonging to the family in their room.
Fernando allegedly tried to attack the officers with a screwdriver in a failed bid to evade arrest.
The third suspect, David M.A., was arrested at his family home in Chiloeches hours earlier.
He is Laura’s ex-boyfriend’s cousin.
Windybeth was released on bail by a court in Guadalajara.
She is under investigation for aiding and abetting the crime.
Her passport was seized and she must sign in with the court twice a month.
Windybeth is the cousin of Juan Guaidó, who was the president of the National Assembly of Venezuela, from January 2019 to January last year.
Following the disputed 2018 re-election of President Nicolás Maduro, the UK, the USA, the EU, and others recognised him as Venezuela’s legitimate head of state.
Windybeth has more than 200,000 followers across social networks.
Fernando is the grandson of the former mayor of Pioz, where officers also reportedly recovered stolen jewellery.
It’s not clear how long Windybeth had been living with him in Pioz, Spain.
In her statement to the police on Sunday, she protested her innocence and laid all the blame on her partner.
She had won awards for her reggaeton songs in Latin America.
In 2021, she was arrested by Colombian authorities for allegedly hitting and injuring a woman in her car.
