Two people miraculously escaped with only minor injuries after their car spun through the air and smashed into several vehicles as it bounced along the road.
Footage from another car’s dashcam shows how the grey Tesla barrel-rolled as it soared through the sky.
Debris was left strewn over the tarmac.
The car finally landed with a thud the right way up.
Despite being a mangled wreck, its driver and the man sitting next to her were alive and intact.
The woman was filmed crying in shock through the smashed-out windscreen.
However, the man calmly managed to call the emergency services on his phone.
The accident happened in Ganzhou, China, yesterday (1 May).
Local media said it happened when another driver swerved to avoid pedestrians.
Their vehicle collided with street furniture and parked vehicles, as reported on Need to Know.
Four people in that vehicle were injured – three lightly and one seriously, according to reports.
The pair in the Tesla only sustained minor injuries, in part because the airbags deployed.
A total of nine vehicles were damaged in the drama.
One local joked: “Is this staged for Musk’s benefit?
“Great advertising value, smashing others to pieces while only sustaining minor injuries yourself, this car is totally worth buying.”
