Horror footage shows how a young woman had “acid” thrown in her face in revenge for making mean comments about a woman’s appearance.
CCTV footage shows Isabelly Aparecida Ferreira Moro walking down the pavement on her way back from the gym on Wednesday (22 May).
The cameras do not capture the moment of the attack, but they film Isabelly stumbling back down the street in the immediate aftermath.

She is filmed doubling over and dropping onto the pavement as she pleads for help from passersby.
Isabelly, 23, was taken to A&E, as reported on Need to Know.
She needed to be intubated after sustaining burns to her face and chest and even ingesting some of the corrosive liquid.
Police officers went to the scene in Jacarezinho, Brazil, and seized a jug apparently used in the attack.
They arrested a suspect in the early hours of Friday (24 May).
Suspect Débora Custódio had been reported missing by her family on Thursday (23 May) after failing to pick her son up from school.
During questioning, she allegedly confessed to the crime.
Local media say her boyfriend, who is now in prison for robbery, had previously been involved with Isabelly.
The police believe Débora, 22, planned the attack after seeing old chats between the former couple on the man’s phone.
Police chief Tristão Antônio said: “She said she acted out of jealousy and had accidentally come across her partner’s mobile phone.
“The phone was obviously at his mother’s house because he is in prison, and there she found some messages, supposedly from Isabelly, making derogatory comments about her and her appearance.
“They had made her angry, and she got the idea to commit the crime.
“She went to the supermarket, bought caustic soda, and mixed it with water.
“She also studied the victim’s itinerary and route, so when Isabelly was returning from the gym, she threw it at her and fled.”
The police say Débora carried out the attack wearing one of her grandmother’s wigs in a bid to hide her identity.
Isabelly was transferred to a hospital in Londrina due to the severity of her injuries.
As of Saturday (25 May), she remained there in critical condition.
Débora has been taken into custody.
