The magazine’s detailed report sheds light on Diddy’s troubled past, including incidents dating back to his time at Howard University in the 1980s.
During this period, an eyewitness has made a shocking allegation that the producer brutally assaulted another ex-girlfriend in front of several students.
The investigation revealed alarming details from Combs’ youth. A source interviewed by Rolling Stone recounted an incident when a young Diddy, then in his early twenties, allegedly beat his girlfriend with a belt in a public display of rage.
The assault, which took place on Howard University’s campus, was reportedly witnessed by numerous students.
According to the source, Combs was “screaming at the top of his lungs” during the attack, which drew a growing crowd outside Howard’s Harriet Tubman Quadrangle. “He whupped her butt,” the source stated, describing how other students tried to intervene and stop the assault.
The woman involved declined to comment when contacted by Rolling Stone. This incident contributed to Diddy’s reputation as a volatile individual, a reputation that has resurfaced with the Cassie incident and other recent assault allegations against the now 54-year-old music mogul.
