Two sex workers who spiked two tourist’s beers before pushing them off a cliff during a “Goodnight Cinderella” robbery have been jailed.
Tuane Silva da Costa and Davina Cristina de Moraes Melo targeted Ronald Rafael Tejeda Sobarzo and Andrés Ignacio Orellana Ruiz.
The pair slipped a date-rape drug in to their drinks.

The four then got a taxi to the Santa Teresa neighbourhood of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The women stole the men’s mobile phones and pushed them off a 10ft tall cliff.
Such robberies are referred to as “Goodnight Cinderella” in the country.
Chileans Tejeda and Orellana, both 29, were found alive the next morning on 14 May, last year.

They were taken to hospital with a severe head injury in Tejeda’s case and broken ribs, a broken collarbone, and punctures to both lungs in Orellana’s.
Tejeda died in hospital three days later, as reported on Need To Know.
Orellana spent several days in hospital, where he underwent surgery.
He said he didn’t remember anything that happened after getting into the taxi.
The sex workers were arrested in the neighbouring city of Duque de Caxias on 22 May last year.
They claimed they were innocent at the time.
They were both convicted of robbery-homicide and another of attempted robbery-homicide and jailed for 30 years and four months at a court in Rio.
Taxi driver Marcelo de Oliveira Manso was also given 25 years and three months in prison for aiding and abetting the crime.
