A hapless goat tried to jump to safety from a rooftop after realising it was going to be sacrificed – only to get tangled in overhead cables.
Footage shows the farm animal caught by the head as it dangles more than 10 feet above a hard landing.
People on the house’s balcony and rooftop can be seen trying to untangle it from the overhead power lines.

It bleats and writhes in distress as a tipper lorry arrives on the scene and parks beneath it in an the effort to free the goat.
The bizarre scenes were filmed in Sarıçam near Adana, Turkey.
The footage did the rounds on social media on Sunday (16 Jun), as reported on Need To Know.
The goat was reportedly to be sacrificed for the Muslim festival of Eid-al-Adha.

Workers joined in the efforts to free the animal after its owners called the electricity network operator.
Their efforts eventually paid off and the animal was freed.
It was lowered onto the lorry trailer and a check-up found it to be in good health.
After it had calmed down, it was reportedly sacrificed.
