A TikTok creator has shared a hack to getting random people to buy things off your Amazon and Etsy wish lists.
Peter Petrella, from Orlando, Florida, says the website Throne, which anyone can use, allows strangers to purchase items on your behalf and have them sent to your address.
He shared the tip in a TikTok video which has attracted just under two million views, as reported on Need To Know.

“Did you all know that there’s literally an app where you can just put a wish list of all the things that you want, and random people will just buy them for you,”
Peter said.“I signed up first so that you didn’t have to to make sure that it was safe.”
Peter assured his viewers that the company is not a scam and that his video isn’t an advertisement to promote it.
According to its website, Throne is an app for creators that allows fans to gift them items from their wish lists.
The site also promises to keep user data private and secure.
In his video, Peter explains that there are two types of accounts – creator and gifter.
He said: “Depending on whether you actually want to buy things for random people, or whether you want to get random things from random people, you can pick one.
“There’s no privacy invasion involved because the person who gives you things never sees your address.
“The website is literally attached to Amazon, it’s attached to Etsy and a bunch of different shopping platforms.
“I’d found this by accident but I’ve looked at so many reviews and so many people are reviewing the privacy policy so it’s legit.”
He explains that the site is easy to navigate and can be used by anybody.
Peter’s video got many people talking in the comments.
Some confirmed the app to be great, whereas others were wary.
One person wrote: “As a 3.5% top creator can confirm throne is safe and easy to use!”
Another commented: “I’m scared to use it.”
“I love throne. It was great back in the streaming days,” said a third user.
Someone else penned: “You kinda need to already have a presence online for this. I’ve had throne for years now and never gotten anything off my wish list.”
“I’m gonna sign up. I would love to gift,” said someone else.
