In a viral video, she explained that she stopped supporting Bolsonaro after discovering he was a Freemason.
At the time, she called Lula a “true Christian”.

Mamede was also the president of the Municipal Council for Sustainable Food and Nutrition Security (Conseas) in her hometown of Ouro Preto, about 240 miles north of Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil.
She passed away suddenly in her home on Friday (5 Jul).
Brazilian MP, André Janones praised Mamede’s performance in the 2022 election.
He said: “I received with great sadness the news of the passing of Marina Mamede, who was persecuted by cowards for her political position.
“Your contribution in 2022, in the battle for democracy, will never be forgotten and, given the finite nature of life, will make you eternal in our memories.”

He added: “May God receive you in His infinite mercy and comfort your family.”
The Civil Police of Minas Gerais stated that the influencer’s body was sent for an autopsy to establish her exact cause of death.
They have yet to release the results of the victim’s post-mortem.

Mamede was buried at the Parque da Esperança Municipal Cemetery in her childhood hometown of Bom Despacho on Sunday (7 Jul).
The influencer, who had 41,000 followers on Instagram, leaves behind three children, as reported by Need To Know.
