An idiot YouTuber has been arrested in connection with his videos showing him endangering commuters by placing objects on train tracks.
Gulzar Sheikh calls himself “Gulzar Indian hacker” on YouTube, where he has 236,000 subscribers.
His filmed “experiments” show him placing various objects onto the steel rails in front of oncoming trains.

Some of his videos, such as “train vs samosa”, clearly pose no harm whatsoever.
Other clips, however, show him placing large or heavy items – like rocks, weights, or even bicycles – onto the rails, clearly creating a derailment risk.
Spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla of India’s governing BJP revealed yesterday (1 Aug) that Sheikh had been arrested.
Hours earlier, he had written: “Identify these anti-nationals who create railway accidents.
“There have been several instances of sabotage/signals being covered with paper/deliberate obstacles being put on tracks.
“Look at Gulzar Sheikh: putting stones, cycles, obstacles on rail tracks.
“God knows who all and how many such elements are doing it to cause train accidents.”
Sheikh’s arrest reportedly took place at his home in Khandrauli village, Uttar Pradesh state.

His most-watched short has 11million views, as reported on Need To Know.
Tellingly, however, the comments on all his videos and shorts are disabled.
Announcing the young man’s arrest, Poonawalla assured his followers “that ‘Rail Jihadi’ won’t be spared by authorities”.

Sheikh is accused of violating multiple sections of the Railways Act and of the India Code.
