A dopey man being hunted in connection with a burglary has been mocked…for looking like a stereotypical burglar.
He was seen wearing a black and white stripy top.
Cops released CCTV images of him also wearing a black bag on his back and a facemark.

Police are investigating the raid on a Co-op supermarket.
Two men stole cigarettes and tobacco from the store in Woodley, near Reading, Berkshire.

Locals were quick to poke fun at his clothing.
Burglars are often seen in black and white striped tops in kids books and cartoons.

Heath Foster said: “Is it standard practice to dress up as a burglar before burgling?
“I know stereotypes exist for a reason, but this seems a bit absurd to me.”
Keith O’Leary added: “Fair play.
“At least he made the effort to dress up as a burglar.
“Would recommend.”
Alan Fenton said: “Is there an alternate back view of the individual concerned?

“I’m interested to see if he has ‘Swag’ emblazoned across the back of his bag.”
Jackie Jenkins said: “Wearing the correct top.”
Another – named Scott – added: “I know it’s not a joke.
“But the colours he’s wearing.
“Like a cartoon.”

The burglary took place at 8:30pm on 23 July, as reported on Need To Know.
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “We are releasing images of an individual officers would like to speak to in connection to a burglary in Woodley.
“The incident occurred at around 8.30pm on 23 July at the Co-op on Englefield Place.
“Two offenders entered the store and emptied the drawers full of cigarettes and tobacco.”
Investigating officer Pc Harry Gaughan, said: “We are appealing to anyone who may recognise the man in the images to get in touch as he may have vital information about this incident.”
