The attack occurred during a “Taylor Swift Yoga and Dance Workshop” at The Hart Space community center. This workshop catered to children aged between seven and eleven years, encompassing primary school years two through six.
The teenager, hailing from Banks, a village in Lancashire, though originally born in Cardiff, Wales, was detained by authorities on Monday. Due to his minor status, his identity remains protected by law.
In court, he faced three charges of murder, ten counts of attempted murder, and possession of a knife. His initial appearance took place at Liverpool Magistrates’ Court on Thursday morning, where he was subsequently remanded to youth detention accommodation.
He is scheduled to appear at Liverpool Crown Court later in the day.
