A tourist has plunged 82ft to his death at a waterfall in front of his horrified partner.
Giancarlo Zicari was enjoying a dream holiday in Bali with his girlfriend Ilaria Biagi when tragedy struck.
The engineer, 49, of Rome, Italy, was taking a selfie at the top in Villa Gajah Mas.

The couple left their hotel at 10.45am on Sunday (4 Aug) to visit the picturesque beauty spot.

The tragedy happened just 45 minutes later at 11.30am.
They arrived at the top of the cascade and found two chairs next to a metal railing fence to prevent visitors from falling over the edge.
Giancarlo suggested posing for a selfie at the top of the waterfall and the couple leaned against the fence.
According to reports, the railing gave way under their weight and both tourists plunged over the edge.

Ilaria remained unconscious for around an hour.
When she came to, she realised her partner was dead and immediately contacted the authorities.
Luckily, Ilaria only suffered minor injuries and was able to start making her way back to the top.
She was assisted by a Ukrainian tourist Viktoria Sokoliuk, who was staying at their hotel, as reported by Need To Know.
Giancarlo’s body was removed by the authorities and taken to the Baturiti Health Centre in Tabanan.
His family declined an autopsy and accepted that his death was accidental, according to the police.
His loved ones, including both parents and two siblings, are currently organising the repatriation of his body from Indonesia to their home city in Italy.
