Passengers screamed in fear as the skipper of a yacht “played chicken” with the tourist ship they were on.
Like a scene from a movie, the vessel appears to move without reducing speed or changing course.
Footage filmed by fearful tourists shows it approaching the boat at an angle from an apparently safe distance.

In the next scene, the yacht is seen directly upon them, seemingly about to strike the tourist boat with its bow.
Passengers scream in fear and an impact looks inevitable.
The following scene shows the yacht narrowly missing the tourist boat, which is now at a near stop after the skipper apparently put the propulsion system into reverse.
Passengers applaud and chatter in relief as the yacht, bearing the name Bleu de Nimes, sails past just a few feet away.
The scary scenes were filmed on board the Nidri Star 1 tour boat, offering daily cruises from Nidri Lefkada in Greece to the Ionian Islands.
The near-miss reportedly took place between the Greek islands of Cephalonia and Ithaca yesterday (8 August), as reported by Need To Know.
One passenger said: “Although we had priority, the yacht did not change course.
“But our own captain, instead of changing course or reducing speed, continued unconcerned.
“Fortunately, the ship that was heading towards us turned at the last moment so there were no serious problems.”
Authorities are carrying out an investigation to ensure that a similar incident doesn’t take place in the future.
