Two hardened crooks were caught trying to escape prison disguised as women.
Francisco Átila da Silva and Carlos Antônio da Silva Oliveira were caught on the jail’s security cameras wearing women’s clothes and wigs.
They’d also stuffed soft items under their T-shirts to make it look like they had breasts.

The pair attempted the bold escape as visitors were leaving a prison family day on Sunday (11 Aug).
Police caught them as they tried to leave the facility in Itaitinga near Fortaleza, Ceará State, Brazil.
They were quickly identified and marched back to their cells, as reported by Need To Know.

Local media say the hardened crooks were involved in a criminal organisation.
They also have drug trafficking, robbery and homicide on their criminal records.
Both now face an internal disciplinary process for their failed flight bid.
Brazilian law criminalises aiding or facilitating the escape of prisoners.

Those convicted of the crime can face six months to two years in prison.
The Ceará State prison system is reportedly facing several challenges.
These include overcrowding, gang conflicts and the constant search by inmates for security loopholes.
