A huge fireball has been captured flying through the sky before exploding above a Japanese city.
Residents of Makurazaki City were blown away when they spotted a great ball of fire shooting through the atmosphere.
Video footage of the spectacle, which happened on 11 August, caught the giant green ball of fire cascading down from the night sky.

The fireball was in fact a meteor light, linked to the Perseid meteor shower that took place this month, as reported by Need To Know.
And guests at the Ocean Hotel Iwato had a front seat view to the mesmerising moment.
Members of the public have been blown away by the footage.
Jonathan Harvey said: “Oh that’s a nice one, it looks like a meteor.”

One stated: “Pretty, meteorite or space junk?”
Another added: “Oh that was a big one.”
One other said: “Thanking magnesium for the green light.”
