This is the bizarre moment a professional Batman was arrested during a children’s party.

Footage of the incident shows the superhero with his hands behind his back as police officers escort him to a car.

He can be seen wearing the classic skin-tight, grey suit and black cape, as well as the signature black mask and bat-shaped ears, as reported by Need To Know.

One officer can be seen opening the car door as the other helps Batman get into the vehicle without damaging his ears.

According to reports, the entertainer was arrested for failing to present his ID at an earlier incident.

When police found him, he was performing at a children’s party in Malaysia.

The video was shared to the Facebook page ‘Batman Malaysia Dark Knight Fans’ on Sunday (18 August), and it has quickly gone viral, amassing 7.7 million views so far.

James joked: “Superman asked: how do you release from prison. Batman replied: I bought the prison.”
