The shocking footage shows a man dressed in black and wearing a mask to hide his identity as he approaches the camera.
Equipped with an electric saw, the suspect then begins cutting through the pole.
In just a few seconds, the camera plummets to the ground before being cut from the pole entirely.
The man then flees the scene carrying the camera away while waving his saw in the air in victory, as reported by Need To Know.
Members of the public have voiced their opinions on the controversial ULEZ cameras, with many divided on how they feel about the man’s actions.
Mark said: “The London rate payers are footing the bill for this. You are not a hero but a criminal hurting everyone. If you have an issue talk to your MP, Councillor or vote.”
Another person added: “Vandalising public property in 2024.
Someone else said: “Excellent work by that bladerunner.”
Another person agreed, saying: “Great work lads.”
Gabriel said: “London council tax payers are going to love this, just going to go on their council tax bill next year. Bit of an own goal really.”
