A disgruntled man has been filmed cutting down a ULEZ camera with a saw in broad daylight.

The suspect, who has been nicknamed “Bladerunner” by the public, was reportedly spotted in west London, with the incident believed to have taken place earlier this week.

It went viral on social media yesterday (23 August).

The shocking footage shows a man dressed in black and wearing a mask to hide his identity as he approaches the camera.

Equipped with an electric saw, the suspect then begins cutting through the pole.

In just a few seconds, the camera plummets to the ground before being cut from the pole entirely.

The man then flees the scene carrying the camera away while waving his saw in the air in victory, as reported by Need To Know.

Members of the public have voiced their opinions on the controversial ULEZ cameras, with many divided on how they feel about the man’s actions.

Mark said: “The London rate payers are footing the bill for this. You are not a hero but a criminal hurting everyone. If you have an issue talk to your MP, Councillor or vote.”
