Wondering what the TGI summer menu is like? Well here’s your answer.
DELICIOUS
We headed down to the all-American restaurant, in Bristol, to try out their new, flavourful dishes and let me say, we were not disappointed.
From the fresh prawns to the salty fries, we were down.
First off, we started with their new starter of Garlic and Chilli Prawns and let me say, they were the star of the show.
You might hear that and think a few measly, small prawns on a tiny side dish, but no.
These were doused in a garlic oil, topped with chilli and a side of chilli cream, they hit the spot.
Next, we tried their famous Fridays Sesame Chicken Strips, which no are not a new addition, but the most popular… so had to give them a go.
And again, we were left ecstatic, the chicken had been tossed in their Fridays legendary glaze, topped with toasted sesame seeds and chilli flakes.
We can see why this one is a Fridays favourite
Onto the mains, we decided to try the new Cajun Mac n Cheese and Friday Smashed Burger.
Firstly, the Mac n Cheese, we weren’t too fussed, as described yes it was a creamy pasta and you could tell it had a cajun hint, but we would’ve loved a bit more flavour and even more cheeseyness!
However, the smashed burger on the other hand was to die for.
Two succulent beef patties dripping with melted cheese, served with lettuce, tomato, red onion, dill pickle and Fridays burger mayo.
To ours we also added some cajun onion rings and changed our normal fries to sweet potato… the best decision made that day.
Lastly, we also added on a side of potato tots, which were fried mini potato bites with their special seasoning – crunchy, salty and delicious.
Drink wise I went for the non-alcoholic Strawberry Daiqui‘TEA’ while my friend had the Passion Fruit Mar‘TEA’ni – all of which were also bubble teas! The best surprise of the day.
We will definitely be re-visiting and can’t wait to see what TGI Friday’s has in store for next season…
