Horror CCTV footage shows how a town mayor was bundled into a truck by armed crooks and driven off.
At least four heavily-armed, masked men removed Aníbal Roblero Castillo from his car.
They bundled him into a white pick-up in front of a cafe and a burgundy SUV escorted them as they drove off.

The mayor was with another man at the time, who was also taken by the crooks in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, south west of Cancun, Mexico.
The whole kidnapping took place within seconds on Tuesday (3 Sept) afternoon.
Roblero, 54, is the mayor of Frontera Comalapa.
The town lies in the extreme south of Mexico, near the border with Guatemala.
Roblero was elected mayor of Frontera Comalapa on 2 June.
With more than 26,000 votes, representing nearly 65 per cent of the vote, he became the most-voted candidate in the municipality’s history.
Roblero belongs to the Ecologist Green Party of Mexico – the second-largest party in Mexico’s governing coalition.
Local media say he’s been involved in reforestation, ecological restoration, and natural-resource conservation efforts in the area.
At the time of reporting, the Attorney General’s Office had not received a complaint from his family.
Nor had his party made a statement about the alleged kidnapping, as reported by Need To Know.
Violence from organised crime has intensified in Frontera Comalapa over the past two years, according to local media.
