The hair-raising moment a car was flipped onto its side by a pothole was captured on CCTV.
The terrifying accident happened as the driver of a red saloon made a left turn at a T-junction.
Suddenly, his car’s front-right wheel went through a water-filled pothole.

And as the tyre hit the edge of the hollow, the vehicle jolted violently.
The car almost left the ground as it bounced and toppled onto its side.
It remained on its side with smoke pouring from the bonnet as pedestrians dashed over to check on the driver.
The scenes were recorded on Tuesday (10 Sep) morning in Puebla, south-east of Mexico City, Mexico.
The boulevard was busy with people heading to school and work at the time, as reported by Need To Know.
Helpful pedestrians eventually pushed the car back onto its four wheels and the driver managed to hobble out.
After the clip did the rounds on social media, the local authorities confirmed that work to repair the road was underway.
Ferfis commented: “These damn government projects – slow, expensive, and poorly done.
“One contract to dig the hole, another to lay the pipes, and yet another to repave. If it takes a few months, who cares?
“But does the government pay for the damage to cars and people?”
However, Jerry took aim at the driver, writing: “Trying to beat the light before it changed.
“If he had slowed down at the yellow, like the rules say, he wouldn’t have ended up crashing into the pothole.”
And Gabriel wrote: “A pothole? Really? That’s a bloody crater! Honestly, the government needs to sort this out!”
