A businessman has survived after jumping from a burning helicopter – and reportedly suffered 90% burns to his body.
Henrique Cunha dos Santos, as he’s been identified, escaped seconds before the aircraft smashed into the ground.
Terrifying footage shows the moment when the chopper nose-dived and caught fire before impact on Monday (9 September).

A second clip was filmed by a person on the ground as he ran towards the burning wreckage.
He filmed how several others ran towards a topless, visibly burnt man as the crashed helicopter gave off thick, black smoke.
The 41-year-old passenger landed in some bushes after free-falling about 10m (33ft).
Henrique also lost half of his body’s fluids alongside the intense burns, according to his family.
He was conscious when he was taken from the scene in Caruaru, Brazil, to a local hospital.
There, he was sedated and put on breathing support.
According to local reports, pilots Raildo de Oliveira Rodrigues, 40, and André Luiz Gomes Ferreira, 45, died in the crash.
Records from Brazil’s National Civil Aviation Agency show that the helicopter had been “denied authorisation for air taxi operations”.
Allegedly, its airworthiness certificate had been terminated, as reported by Need To Know.
However, it had undergone maintenance shortly before the flight, according to local media.
Dos Santos is reportedly battling pneumonia from smoke inhalation and is on a “cocktail” of antibiotics due to infection from the burns.
He was taken in for surgery and was due to undergo another operation to remove some burnt tissue on Wednesday (11 September).
Dos Santos is originally from Recife, but lives in Bonito, Brazil, not far from the crash site, where he works as a cattle and pig farmer.
He also runs an exotic pet web shop, according to local media.
The crash is under investigation.
